- The Fleet & Family Support Program (FFSP) provides unified, customer-focused, consistent, and efficient FFSP programs and services to support sustained mission and Navy readiness.
 
Fleet & Family Support Programs

Fleet & Family Support Webinars - attend live workshops from the comfort and convenience of your home computer.
Command Support - offers command support during a crisis, training for command leadership and specifically assigned representatives to serve the needs of your command.
Counseling - staffed with highly qualified, licensed counselors who know how to help you increase your problem-solving skills, reduce your stress levels and focus on lifetime solutions.
Deployment & Mobilization Support - works closely with commands, their Ombudsmen, Family Readiness Groups, individuals and families to provide resources and assistance during all cycles of the deployment process.
Life Skills Education - provides a variety of valuable resources and programs to help service members and their families gain knowledge and develop new skills that will enhance self-esteem and interpersonal relations.
Relocation Assistance - offers transition services, including workshops, welcome packages, loaner items, consultations, Exceptional Family Member Program and more.
Transition Assistance - support for sailors separating or retiring from the Navy and making the transition to civilian life.
Family Advocacy - offers prevention, identification, treatment and follow-up for spouse and child abuse as well as neglect.
Family Employment Readiness Program - Career Resource Centers assist spouses and family members in finding employment through workshops, employment information, career counseling, resume assistance and more.
New Parent Support - help service members and their spouses adjust to the rigorous demands of parenthood.
Personal Financial Management - highly qualified financial counselors provide workshops, financial counseling, Command Financial Specialist training and support and more.
Operation Uplift - offered at NAS Whidbey Island as support during all phases of deployment through programs, customer service and morale to ensure each sailor and family member has a successful deployment experience.
Individual Augmentee Combat Stress Program - The Fleet & Family Support Program (FFSP) offers a Comprehensive Combat Stress Program to address normal physiological, behavioral and psychosocial reactions that Individual Augmentees experience before, during and after entering combat or hazardous zones and high-level detainee facilities.
 
Spouse & Family Support

New Spouse Orientation On-Demand Training - This online training is designed to support new Navy spouses that may be geographically isolated and those that are unable to attend this Fleet & Family Support Center workshop in person. It provides information on benefits, support services, military culture, and resources to help Navy Spouses adapt to the military lifestyle. The New Spouse Orientation training should be at the top of any new spouse's to do list.
National Military Family Association - activities revolve around programs to educate the public, the military community, and Congress on the rights and benefits of military families and to advocate for improvements in the quality of life for those families.
Military OneSource - provided by the Department of Defense at no cost to active duty, Guard and Reserve (regardless of activation status) and their families. It is a virtual extension of installation services. Visit the Military OneSource website or call 1-800-342-9647.
Veterans Crisis Line - specially trained, caring professionals, experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances. Many of the responders are Veterans themselves and understand what Veterans and their families and friends have been through and the challenges Veterans of all ages and service eras face.
Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center - support for Individual Augmentee (IA) sailors and their families.
Navy Wives Clubs of America - dedicated to improving life in the Naval Services, NWCA provides volunteer and monetary support to Base Commands, Family Service Centers, Navy-Marine Corps Relief, Red Cross and many other military and community activities.
Military.com Spouse - free membership connects servicemembers, military families and veterans to all the benefits of service — government benefits, scholarships, discounts, lifelong friends, mentors, great stories of military life or missions, and much more. In partnership with Monster Worldwide, the spouse career and education resources aim to support spouses and families by providing access to career opportunities, training information and education options.
TroopTube by Military OneSource - an online video site designed to help military families connect and keep in touch while miles apart. The site is designed for easy use, so you can quickly upload videos and share the simple joys of each day with each other.
FOCUS (Families OverComing Under Stress) - for the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery's (BUMED) is a psychological health resiliency-building program designed for military families facing the psychological challenges of combat operational stress during wartime. Naval Services FamilyLine - mentoring through informing and sharing of navy-life lessons learned passed forward. We sponsor COMPASS courses - held worldwide - for new naval services spouses, Command Spouse Leadership Courses, edit and publish a series of helpful, free, booklets called the "Guideline Series", and continue to develop our CORE (Continuum of Resources and Education) library online.
COMPASS - a spouse-to-spouse mentoring program that introduces participants to all aspects of the military lifestyle. Offers military spouses the opportunity to establish a peer network, aquire knowledge and develop skills necessary to successfully meet future challenges of military life.
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) - designed to assist Sailors by addressing the special needs of their exceptional family members (EFM) during the assignment process. Special needs include any special medical, dental, mental health, developmental or educational requirement, wheelchair accessibility, adaptive equipment or assistive technology devices and services.
USO - mission is to lift the spirits of America's troops and their families.
 
Chaplain Support

Navy Region Northwest Religious Programs - provide for the Spiritual Wellness and morale of the Fighter and Families by conducting/facilitating worship services, enhancing spiritual development; teaching moral decision making, pastoral counseling, sacramental ministry, fostering community and mentorship for every war Fighter, Family member and authorized DOD personnel.
Navy Region Northwest Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) - provides a program of retreats to enable military members and their families to develop personal and spiritual resources.

Financial Support

Military Saves - promotes financial stability through savings, debt reduction, and wealth-building over time.

Consumer.gov: Payday Loans & Cash Advances - what it is, what to know and what to do.
Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) - a retirement savings and investment plan for Federal employees and members of the uniformed services, including the Ready Reserve. It was established by Congress in the Federal Employees' Retirement System Act of 1986 and offers the same types of savings and tax benefits that many private corporations offer their employees under 401(k) plans.
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society - a private, non-profit, volunteer service organization that provides financial, educational and other assistance to Navy and Marine Corps service members, their eligible family members, and survivors when in need.
 
Legal Support

Region Legal Service Office Northwest - provides all prosecution, command services, and court-reporting support to Navy and Marine Corps commands located within its assigned geographic area and performs such other functions and tasks as may be directed by competent authority.
Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps - provide quality legal services and counsel in support of commands and eligible individuals.
Defense Service Office West (DSO West) - provides legal representation to military service members as efficiently as possible, consistent with our ethical obligation to represent our clients zealously. We represent service members at Administrative Separation Boards, Boards of Inquiry and Courts-Martial, in addition to providing advice to service members on defense-related topics such as nonjudicial punishment.
