MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs tasks involved in preparing and serving customers made to order espressos, other beverages, snacks and select food items, and ensures stock is replenished as needed.. Operates a cash register according to standard cash control procedures, responsible for own cash fund, including the change fund, makes correct change, completes daily activity report (DAR) and prepares necessary documentation for cash fund accountability. May assist in taking physical inventory count. Performs cleaning tasks and is accountable for maintaining a safe workplace. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Understanding of basic food handling techniques. Ability to follow oral instructions and perform routine manual tasks involving few steps. Must have working knowledge how to operate and clean commercial espresso machines. Ability to exercise tact, good manners and courtesy when serving and assisting both customers and employees. Must possess a valid WA State Driver’s license and clean driving record for the last three (3) years. Must have previous experience at a high volume espresso stand for a minimum of six (6) months.

Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of National Agency (NACI) background check with written inquiries required.. Must walk or stand for prolonged periods of time. Frequently handles objects weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Work is normally performed inside with adequate light, heat and fresh air.
