Western Washington is well known for all the rain we get, but because of this rain, it is green and lush all year round. And when we have clear sunny weather, you won't believe the incredible views.

Resident Recognition Program
Resident of the Quarter & Resident of the Month
Be recognized for your exemplary contributions to the mission of Unaccompanied Housing through our Resident Recognition Program. The Resident of the Month receives an LOA from the Base CO, and the Resident of the Quarter receives a designated parking spot for 3 months! To be qualified for the Resident of the Quarter, the resident must first win the Resident of the Month.
The resident must demonstrate the following qualities:
- Room is kept in an exceptionally clean and organized manner.
- Consistently receives outstanding ratings during scheduled and non-scheduled inspection.
- Actively participates in UH/MWR/Recycling program.
- No violation of any UH Policies (guests, cooking, alcohol, etc.).
- Displays pro-active attitude, respect for others and proven organizational and mission support.
- Contributions that have made the nominee a more valuable UH resident.
Resident Advisors
A Resident Advisor (RA) is an E-5 to E-9 single sailor or Geographical Bachelor (GB) who lives in Unaccompanied Housing (UH) and provides a senior presence for mentoring and counseling of junior sailors residing in UH. The RA program is designed to assist in maintaining good order and discipline and will assist in enforcing UH policy.

Housing Service Center
The Navy Housing Service Center (HSC) is your first stop to receive information on housing options and community resources. Our centers offer a wide variety of referral services for you, including information on the local community and surrounding areas. We can also assist you with finding off-base housing. Whether you are just arriving, preparing to move away, or changing residences, we have ways to help.
Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH)
The Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) is a U.S. based allowance prescribed by geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency status. It provides uniformed Service members equitable housing compensation based on housing costs in local civilian housing markets within the United States.
